Diane holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Minor in History, and a Master of Arts in Cultural, Social, and Political Thought from the University of Lethbridge. She joined Dr. Amber Fletcher’s GEnSIL lab in early 2025 to further her education in the University of Regina’s Interdisciplinary Studies Doctoral program. Diane is a family farmer and brings an insider view to her area of research interest. Her cultural, social, and political questions ask how women have participated historically in the agriculture industry and how that history is reflected in contemporary practices of family farming and farmland ownership.
